At almost five weeks, Ethan is sharing with us what appears to be another first: social smiles. Social smiles are defined as being intentional smiles in response to another's action. I have been seeing these smiles the past week when he is completely engaged with the "black/white" contrast cards and now with his grandparents here the past couple of days and giving him loads of smiles, he has been lighting up our home with his expressive cheek-to-cheek smiles
. Thought we'd share a couple of these with you.Challenge du jour: Ethan was waking up more frequently throughout the night....we went from feedings every 3-4 hours to every 2.5. Not a dramatic change but just hoping it does not continue in this direction. ;)
